Termination of the remote contract:
Article 12 of the Consumer Protection Law (CPL) of the Republic of Latvia and Regulation No. 207 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia "Rules on Remote Contracts" determine that the buyer has the right to cancel the contract within 14 calendar days and return the goods purchased through the Remote Contract through the intermediary of the Remote Contract.
The consumer is responsible for the safety and quality of the goods during the validity period of the right of return. We advise you to keep the original packaging of the goods so that the goods will not be damaged during transportation, when using the right to return the goods under the terms of the Distance Agreement, according to the CPL Article 12 part 6.
According to the CPL (article 12 part 6), laivunams.lv reserves the right to refuse to return the goods to the buyer or to withhold the compensation fee if the goods are damaged, returned not in the original packaging or the packaging of the goods is substantially damaged, the seals on the goods are damaged, traces of negligent for example: the boat was used on water, the motor was started and operated, and similar defects, i.e. lost the initial state of the goods.
When you return goods, you must provide a document (receipt or invoice) confirming the purchase. If the Consumer wishes to return goods that do not comply with the terms of the remote contract, then in accordance with the rules of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia Nr. 631 "The procedure for filing and reviewing consumer claims to goods and services that do not meet the terms of the contract", the Consumer must fill out the claim form and provide the returned goods in full.
In accordance with the CPT article 12, part 5, we inform that delivery of the goods is a separate contract with the delivery service and the money for the delivered service is not returned.
